Hospitals, healthcare and care homes

W.E.T has 30 years of experience in working in partnership with NHS Trusts, AE’s (water), GP surgeries, care homes and dentists. We understand your need to have compliant services delivered in accordance with the latest guidance, regulations or your WSP, and are proficient at delivering this in a Sensible & Simple way.

HTM compliant services

To ensure healthcare services are delivered in accordance with the latest HTM guidance (such as HTM 04-01), W.E.T employ a dedicated Compliance Team to ensure that any works carried out meet these guidelines. Offering advice to our clients and staff from the outset and then auditing to confirm conformity.

Asset management

W.E.T have their own asset management system which is used by many clients to ensure traceability over each individual asset within their estate. This asset management system ensures that all non-compliant assets are logged until remediation and comes with an online portal that the client can access this information real time.  In addition to this, both W.E.T’s office staff and field teams have an excellent working knowledge of one of the most popular water quality management tools provided by an independent consultancy practice.

Authorising engineers (water)

Water Safety Group’s are often advised by Authorising Engineers to develop suitable a scope for the management of the water quality of the estate. W.E.T’s collaborative approach to working with these consultants and their stakeholders ensures that all programs of work are carried out in a sensible, yet compliant manner that achieves the objectives of the Water Safety Plan.

Water sampling

Field technicians can carry out water quality sampling in accordance with HTM 04-01, BS 7592 and BS 8554, and have been externally trained and certified to City and Guilds standards by an independent consultancy in the sample collection methodology for water quality risk management.

TMV servicing

The servicing of thermostatic mixer valves is an essential part of maintaining the well-being of the water system within a healthcare setting, not only this but it provides protection to vulnerable people from scalding risks. Therefore, it is vitally important that these assets are serviced to the highest standards and why W.E.T carry out a full clean, descale and disinfection of the strainers, internal components and casing alongside the failsafe test, and in accompaniment carry out failsafe only testing.
