W.E.T engage with policy makers and challenge the prevailing standards to ensure future policy and guidance notes are business-sensible for clients, which means that risk is being managed in the most cost effective way. W.E.T is accredited by the Legionella Control Association. W.E.T's experienced compliance manager regularly attends industry leading conferences, feeding into the development of the industry.
W.E.T employ and develop an experienced and professional workforce, committed to providing business-sensible and reliably simple services, to achieve the accolade of Best Supplier Status. The skills at W.E.T include qualifications in biomedical sciences, NEBOSH, City & Guilds, Water Hygiene cards and CSCS amongst others. Legionella technicians are employed under the company’s trainee programme, developing the abilities and experience to accommodate a depth of Legionella compliance services.
W.E.T invest in research and development programmes to create innovative products and services to improve the client’s ability to manage their water systems. The latest work undertaken was a two-year research project in collaboration with the microbiological faculty at Aston University into the formation of biofilm in cold water storage tanks. This research provided valuable insight into the issues of biofilm and the associated proliferation of Legionella; leading to innovations in water tank services.
W.E.T manages 2000 sites across the UK and Ireland for a wide range of high profile and long standing clients. This experience ranges from single site risk assessments to 400 site monitoring contracts. In particular, W.E.T delivers services for clients in retail, healthcare, education, councils, housing associations, property management, religious establishments and mechanical contracting. In addition to Legionella compliance services, W.E.T offer expertise in tank replacements and water treatment contracts.
W.E.T are an established and experienced company, accredited by; the Legionella Control Association; quality standard ISO9001; SAFEContractor; Constructionline; and the Water Management Society. The company maintains robust insurance policies, which exceed the industry standard, such as Professional Indemnity. This allows employees to work autonomously, whilst supported by a reputable company structure to ensure clients receive a personal and reliably simple service.
W.E.T operate under the quality standard ISO 9001, accredited by BSI and overseen by the company’s NEBOSH qualified compliance manager. Regular audits are carried out on account management and field technician functions to ensure the company is adhering to method statements and meeting the high standards expected by clients. These procedures are designed to provide reliably simple services and are delivered by in-house employed technicians only; all of which is approved by the Legionella Control Association.
W.E.T provide information to clients in a reliably simple and easy to understand format, but with detailed inspection sheets to ensure that all relevant management information is captured and not just the minimum requirement. Legionella risk assessments for example are provided with detailed asset registries, image references and CAD schematics. W.E.T’s account management function will also work with clients to put together bespoke reports and service level agreements to ensure exacting requirements are met.
W.E.T opened its doors at the same time the first edition of ACoP L8 released in 1991. This has resulted in a management team with almost 100 years’ combined industry experience. To ensure this experience is converted into services valued by clients, W.E.T performs regular customer feedback. The company is proud to achieve high service levels, regularly receiving the accolade of ‘best-supplier’ by exceeding client expectations.
